Distinguished Lecture Series

Professor Eanna Flanagan

Cornell University, New York

will give a series of lectures on

General Relativity in the 21st Century (In Memory Of Nathan Rosen)

Topic: Astrophysics

Professor Eanna Flanagan is a young General-Relativist from Cornell University. He is an expert in gravitational-wave physics and in the physics of strong gravitational fields. In 2004 he got the prestigious Xanthopoulos International award for research in Gravitational Physics. His lectures included a colloquium on the new field of gravitational-wave astronomy, a seminar on the radiation-reaction force in General Relativity, and another seminar on gravitational wave phenomena in the early universe.
